Between the high tide and the low tide, there is a place of complete calm and stillness.   Changing Tides Yoga believes that the simple, yet powerful practice of yoga can take you to that place in yourself, a refuge from the hurry-scurry of the modern world.

Life is a little like the ocean.  Sometimes calm, relaxed and soothing, sometimes exciting and wild and yet, other times restless, unpredictable and perhaps even a little frightening.   Yoga can help you navigate these tides of life and maintain a sense of inner balance and strength, no matter where you are or what is happening around you.

We believe that Yoga is a pathway to positive health and wellbeing. When the body, breath and mind work together, positive physical and mental changes result. Through these ancient practices passed down for thousands of years, we are enabled to feel more alive, more connected and live with more purpose, vitality and energy.   We work with asana (postures and flows), breath (pranayama), mudras, mantra, relaxation, mindfulness/concentration and meditation.

Classes are safe, therapeutic and fun.  We aim at including our whole community no matter your size, age or walk of life, there is something to suit everyone from the very young, to our senior seniors/elderly (our oldest student is 96!)

We believe in the power of Yoga to heal, nourish and bring balance in these changing times.

"helping navigate the ebb and flow of the tides of life..."
