Dru is a graceful and potent, therapeutic form of Yoga using gentle, flowing yet powerful movements with controlled, directed breathing and visualisation.  It is certainly a Yoga for these times and is suitable for almost everyone no matter their level of fitness, age or flexibility.  

Our Dru classes can be tailored to suit your life circumstances, the time of day, season, even the weather – revitalise and recharge, strengthen, de-stress and unwind or all of these!

Dru Yoga is founded in the ancient Yogic tradition and uses a wholistic and heart-centred approach. Dru uses a unique format of activation of body systems, energy block-release sequences, therapeutic posture work, pranayama, mudra, concentration/meditation and deep relaxation to create stillness and peace in mind and body.

In Sanskrit, Dhruva means Pole Star or still point, a point by which you can set your compass to navigate through life.  Dru has a Gandhian influence with a strong humanitarian focus and is becoming more and more popular and widespread in Australia as it becomes known.

A panacea for stress, anxiety and depression and a recipe for maintaining general wellbeing.
