Kids Yoga

Helping your child discover their inner ‘awesome’!

 

Yoga is a pathway for young people to access and proudly display their true selves.  Through Yoga, kids can find internal and physical strength; see themselves grow and change and see their life path more clearly.   We learn to find our centre and this allows us to navigate through the challenging moments in life with an internal compass that will not steer us astray.

Carly has a special love of kids and has worked with children for many years.  She has run childcare centres both in Australia and overseas and managed both Kids Club and Mini Kids Club in Resort/Retreat settings.  She has also worked in Australian schools with the Department of Education as a Special Learning Support Officer with children with special needs.

A strong advocate for Kids Yoga, Carly hopes that one day Yoga will be offered in every school.

In a changing and fast-paced world at present filled with chaos and confusion, and with much focus on performance, materialism and competition, yoga provides a welcome oasis of active yet mindful play and quiet times away from technology.   Kids Yoga is gaining popularity as the benefits become known and witnessed.  

Classes are non-competitive, non-religious and celebrate uniqueness and differing abilities in a nurturing, non-judgemental setting. With immense physical, mental and emotional benefits, children gain tools for navigating life.

 

Teens Yoga

 

Teens yoga and mindfulness classes provide a powerful non-competitive and inclusive pathway to help teens navigate and adapt to the changes and pressures of everyday life. 

 

Classes are challenging and playful and consist of traditional asana (postures and sequences), pranayama (breathwork), mindfulness, deep relaxation and creative activities.
